A Blue Jay In The Backyard

We recently put some shelled peanuts out in the backyard and its almost as if these birds can smell them.
We might not see a Blue Jay in our neighborhood for weeks, even months. Now we have three regulars that come every day.

Here's one of them :

Now that is a garden visitor, I'll gladly do you a swap. We used to get our Jay's around eating monkey nuts, but i haven't seen them for about 6 years too many grey squirrels eating them too quick, the nuts that is

Mike , I think I have only seen a Jay 4 times in my life back home. It always used to be so exciting though.
Over here they seem to be at most parks.

I haven't put out too many sunflower seeds yet, but when I do I will have a bunch of Jays daily!

Yours is the most handsome blue jay I've seen in a long time - and you must have told him how to pose - it was too perfect!

Wow! It's beautiful and so clear. I just want to reach out and stroke the top of it's pretty little head. :-)
