Sandhills and Shorebirds

Here are some recent photos taken on a few trips to some wetlands and sloughs fairly close to town, including places such as Clavet, Blucher and Blackstrap.

Waders are great birds to photograph when they let you get close enough, these shots are cracking Nck.

Thanks :-) I had to be extremely careful not to spook them , so moved very slowly and got as close as i could.
I must say that it was absolutely freezing on the morning I got those pics !
